Skala Eressos is a small fishing village on the island Lesbos in Greece. It’s one of the few places on earth lesbians have adopted. They started to come here in the 70s walking in the poet Sappho’s footsteps. In this small fishing village humans and animals live side by side much thanks to the lesbians who have taken care of stray dogs and cats for 50 years. I found this cat in the early morning having a nap on the beach.
