THE LESBIAN PROJECT

THIS IS MY GRANDPARENTS. They married in the 1930s, as the political winds of Europe turned sharply to the right. We all know the darkness that followed.

It may be 2025, but sadly, Europe is far from the inclusive family it should be. The differences for lesbians across countries are stark. In Budapest, the Pride March is illegal. That example says it all. My wish is for everyone to have the chance to choose their own life, just as my grandparents did—whether to marry or not, whether to live with a man or a woman. Life is the one true gift we have been given. Help me shine a spotlight on lesbians—a group that, in my opinion, is at risk of remaining in an invisible bubble, lost in the tide of pinkwashing.

For over a year, I've been traveling across Europe, searching for lesbian spaces. This is a fully independent project, and I am very proud to say that I've self-funded it every step of the way. It means I have had the freedom to create from my gut to your gut what I needed to. To continue documenting these stories with the same honesty, I rely on your support. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. It allows me to be on the ground, capture real experiences, and contribute to defending the right for lesbian and queer people to exist and be visible in public spaces.

Your donation helps sustain this independent journalism and art, ensuring these critical stories are told honestly.

I am looking for investors. If you are one, let me know! Thank you for considering contributing.
